Gracemere property Malchi was passed in for $3.3 million, while the 36ha block Robins was sold at an Elders auction on Wednesday.
Marketing agent Virgil Kenny, Elders said negotiations were continuing on Malchi, which was passed in to a southern developer. Robins sold under the hammer for $290,000 to nearby landholders, the Sutton family.
Five of the six parties that registered to bid at the auction in Rockhampton were active.
The Archer Brothers settled in the region in 1855 when it was still known as the colony of New South Wales.
It wasn't until 1859 with the formation of the State of Queensland, that the Archer Brothers were able to freehold their aggregation.
The 5th generation of the Archer family will retain the historically listed property, "Gracemere" and will move forward to offer "Malchi" & "Robins" an area of 3709 acres by way of auction on Wednesday the 2nd of October 2019 at the Rockhampton Leagues Club at 11AM.
