Raglan Brahmans

60 years of history in the breed behind these families.

Raglan Brahman Stud is the result of a union between two children of original Brahman breeding families in Australia.  When Andrew Olive and Roxanne Kirk married in 1985 it united the Beak/Olive family of Apis Creek at Marlborough, with the Kirk family of Yenda at Gayndah.  The Kirk's began in 1947, and Beak's in 1954 so this is over 60 years of history.  With the power of genetics joined together by the original studs, Raglan has fast become a well-known identity of its own.

Together with over 60 years of history in the breed behind these families, there is no doubt that we, and our three children Ryan, Jacque and Aimee, with our dedication, devotion and love of the breed, have a wealth of knowledge of Brahman cattle.

By using leading imported and Australian semen through extensive IVF, ET and AI programmes we have maintained a strong consistency through our stud, commercial herd and sale cattle.

Showing

Through the show ring, which Roxanne started in 1975 with her parent’s cattle at Yenda, and now continuing on with Andrew and the family, we have met and made many wonderful friends.

We would like to welcome you to visit our property and inspect some of our pure grey Brahman Cattle.
