One of the highlights of Beef Australia 2021 was the return of Australian outback Fred Brophy and his boxing tent.
Fred is a fourth-generation showman who runs the world's last and only legal travelling boxing troupe.
Over two nights at Beef 2021, Fred and his team are taking on all challengers.
Nolan Meats takes out top carcase competition awards
The National Carcase Competition awards night was last night and Terry Nolan took the top gong, winning Champion and Reserve Champion on the night.
Mr Nolan, of Gympie’s Nolan Meats, entered carcases under the trading name The Little Blondes and said he was thrilled to come away with his first Champion after many years of entering competitions.
“We’re pretty excited about it, to be honest,” Terry said.
