Joining him in the tri-colour ribbon count was red female Crinum Miss Red Ruby who snared the highly coveted senior and grand Brahman female championship and was runner-up in the interbreed female judging.
The 219 head Brahman lineup featured the crème de la crème of Australia's stud industry and was judged by respected Charolais breeder David Bondfield, Palgrove, Dalveen.
He selected Raglan Victory as the grand champion bull, making the May 5 event a memorable milestone for breeders Andrew and Roxanne Olive, Raglan stud, Raglan Station, Raglan. This was not the first beef expo success for the prefix, which showed the reserve calf champion, Raglan Laxargo, at Beef Australia 2012.
