Cattle Records just keep getting broken
It was no exception in Grafton on Saturday where George and Fuhrmann, and Ray Donovan agencies held the Annual Droughtmaster Invitational Bull and Female Sale.
Records broken for commercial cattle.
Droughtmaster heifers and calves sold on account of P&W Carter and sons Kyogle Topped at $2600.

And other lines reaching over $2500 four times.
Interesting to know that most were Jembrae bloodlines
Preg tested heifers in light condition topped at $1700 sold on account K&J Ellem.

Unjoined heifers topped at $1300 sold on account of M&L Heyman
With drought master Hereford x Werner heifers topped at $1100
Sold on account of Eastern River p/l the top of the droughtmaster Bulls sold to $7000.
The Bulls averaged $3,600
Cows and Calf’s averaged $2424
Unjoined Heifers average $1030.

There was a big demand for breeder cattle with many buyers still scratching their head on how to source breeder cattle with many having $2000 to spend and going home empty handed.
