Charters Towers Show Returns in 2025

From 27 – 29 July 2025 at the Charters Towers Showgrounds.

Charters Towers Show Returns

Bigger, Better Entertainment for the Whole Family

The Charters Towers Show is back in 2025 with three jam-packed days of country fun, family entertainment, competitions and local pride, running from 27 – 29 July 2025 at the Charters Towers
Showgrounds.

A beloved North Queensland tradition for over 140 years, the Show celebrates the region’s rich agricultural heritage while delivering modern thrills and live entertainment for all ages.

This year’s program is set to be bigger and better than ever, featuring:

• Fireworks spectacular lighting up the night sky on Monday night

• FMX fearless freestyle motocross legends return to deliver even bigger air, crazier tricks, and more edge-of-your-seat action on Monday night

• Live music performance from Tammy Moxon

• Sideshow alley rides and carnival games for all thrill-seekers

• Animal nursery for the kids to meet farm favourites up close

• Showjumping, dressage, hacks and working stockhorse events

• Cattle judging

• Pavilion exhibits of homegrown produce, arts, crafts, and photography.

Charters Towers Show Society President Kenneth Coleman said the 2025 Show would celebrate everything locals love about the region while welcoming visitors from near and far.

“This is our time to showcase the very best of Charters Towers: our farmers, our artists, our businesses and our community spirit,” Kenneth said. “We’re proud to deliver a Show with fantastic entertainment, plenty of rides and games for the kids, and good old-fashioned country hospitality. There really is something for everyone.”

The Show Society has worked closely with local businesses and volunteers to put together a program that caters for all interests and ages.

“We want everyone to feel welcome - from families with young children to teens looking for adventure on the rides, to older visitors who love the craft and produce displays,” Kenneth added.
Gates will be open daily from 8am, with tickets available online and at the gate. Sunday is open to the public free of charge.
