Day Three on my way to Roma Stewie took me over to his neighbours place Ron and his son Ben Byriel of Dandarbong Pastoral.
It open my eyes to what farming is all about 10,000 acres of farming wheat, chickpea, oats, but you must have the right equipment to do it just take a look at the equipment they use John Deere tractors and boss seeders machinery that I haven’t seen before.
I just happened to be there when they were preg testing 800 cows with Taroom Vet Tim Wright.
Run your eyes over these cattle very handy Cattle at Dandarbong.
Great to have the opportunity to see this type of country and experienced firsthand proper farming.
