BULLS FOR SALE 20 to 21 months 23 bulls averaged 715 kgs on 1ST DEC
Twenty years ago Gary and Judy Reidy of 'Ebbwvale’ established an Angus Stud in the Southern Highlands of NSW.
In response to a market opportunity, they introduced Bonsmara/Belmont Red sires into the Angus herd to produce bulls with high fertility and calf survival traits for commercial breeders.
The sires of these bulls being Belmonts, their progeny remain 100% taurus, selected for high fertility and calving ease, mid maturity with adequate growth for positive saleable beef yield and eating quality.
The dams of these bulls were predominantly HBR, and reflect the influence of selective genetic infusion over the last two decades.

Age is now 20 to 22 months.
The bulls have been raised on perennial pasture.
This year's mob, now 23, weighed in at an average of 715kgs, (1 Dec 16), and at say 22 months would have daily gains in excess of 1kg.
The bulls have demonstrated a capacity to adapt to conditions in regions far afield from the Southern Highlands.
