THE Breakfast Creek Hotel took out the top prize of the day this year, buying the Ekka’s Grand Champion Led Steer for $22/kg.
The Norman Hotel paid $9.20/kg for the heavyweight champion, a 630kg live weight Limousin the Norman also purchased the charity steer for $10/kg.
Donated by Downlands College, money raised went to Multiple Sclerosis networking and support groups.
