Parawanga Droughtmaster Stud.

9 Bulls Bound For Rocky 17th &18th September

Parawanga stud 9 Sale Bulls

Parawanga stud, established in 1992, is offering 9 bulls in 3 runs at the DN sale.

Karen and Rob Scanlan have 2 bulls early on day one and then 3 more late on day two, finishing with 4 bulls for Ayla right at the end of the two day sale, and these are well worth an inspection,as there are real quality stud sires to be had here at a potentially very affordable price when all the other buyers have gone home.

The stud runs around 300 droughtmaster cows on about 4000 acres in coastal parts of Central Queensland, and has a long history of selecting first rate sires of higher content to maintain the easy-care attributes of the Parawanga herd in a very high tickload and low nutrient coastal soils.

Sires represented here include Parawanga Milton, a Strathfield Telesto grandson, as well as Billabong, Vaughn, Billabong Alexander and Calaanah Aberdeen.

In our cattle, you will find plenty of frame score and bone, good depth of body with good legs and feet and lovely shiny tropical coats for natural tick resistance and we recommend the 2019 draft highly.

Studmasters will definitely get excited about several of these bulls.

Please call Rob on 0404 725902 to arrange pre-sale inspections at Flaggy Rock, just 5km off the Bruce Highway, a bit over 2 hours drive from Rockhampton.

All Bulls are  tested Pompes negative and J-BAS 7 for WA.
