Queensland Rural Agents yarded a total of 3,760 head.

Cattle consisted of consisted of 15 Cows, 344 Bulls, 1,890 Steers, 1,449 Heifers and 62 Cows & Calves.

The yarding was drawn from Normanton, Croydon, Mt Surprise, Greenvale, Tully, local and coastal areas.

Store Quotes:

Store Cattle comprised of good lines and runs of both Steers and Heifers with quality Cattle making above market results on previous week’s rates.

• A pen of 34 Steers a/c KJ & MM Taylor, made 300.2¢/kg and weighed 262kg, returning an average of $786 per head.

• A good line of 730 Red Brahman Steers a/c Morr Morr Pastoral Co, Delta Downs, Normanton, averaged at 279.2¢/kg and weighed 252kg to return $703 per head.

• A good pen of 16 Heifers a/c KJ & MM Taylor, made 234.2¢/kg, weighed 258kg & returned an average of $604 per head.

• 33 Cows & Calves sold on a/c C & L Catalano, returned $1230 per unit.
