Tummel Hereford Stud was founded in 1957 on a line of females comprising Hammond Springs Marquise, Yarrandabbie Empress, Yarrandabbie Toga, both by Pridewood Develop (imp. U.K), Bexley Rainbow 27 by Bexley Demonstrator, Benama Princess 3, Bective Maple 33 and Bective Moonbeam 25.
Move forward to today and Tummel has had some exciting progress introducing sons of Monymusk Eiffel Tower (P) NZ.
Tummel have had some recent success with our client’s cattle through weaner sales, saleyards in conjunction with some fantastic hook prices.
This shows the quality of the genetics used at Tummel, where cattle are able to produce excellent weights, holding their own in the market, as both straight or cross breeds.
Tummel stud principal, Chris Lisle, attends on property sales and both Dubbo and Wodonga Hereford Sales as he seeks to continually upgrade his genetics.
