Mr. V8 604/7 - Man of Steel - Grand Champion Bull Houston 2017

Well known Aussie Brahman breeders Sharon and Ken of Hillview Brahmans were at the 2017 Houston livestock show, to see the judging of the champions early today Sharon was kind enough to share photos of the major event with MDM.
Also known to the Brahman world out hear in Australia, Michael England of England Farms who also pick up the Reserve Intermediate Champion Grey Female at the Show.

But the true grit of a champion was seen in Mr. V8 604/7 Man of Steel

He had the second heaviest weaning weight (710 pounds) and achieved heaviest yearling weight (1181 pounds) of the 2014 spring calf crop.
His first calf crop arrived in the fall of 2016, and has proven that “Man of Steel” will consistently breed true to his type, when mated to a variety of cows. His offspring exhibit the same extended and tidy front end, bold and open rib cage, with expressive loin shape and width from stifle to stifle as he does.
604/7 is a truly remarkable bull that has had the RARE ability to have massive size, bone, and muscle while maintaining perfect hoof shape and clean joints.
