Winx blitzed the field at Royal Randwick to win a world record 23rd Group One win and her 31st consecutive victory in the Chipping Norton Stakes on Saturday 2nd March 2019.
Happy Clapper and Unforgotten 2nd and 3rd for minor placings.
Winx jumped well and settled in fourth place as the leader Happy Clapper set a cracking pace to surge seven lengths clear.
However, Winx made her move before the bend but had to battle down the straight to eventually reel in Happy Clapper.
“Over five or six years, we’ve noticed the changes,” Waller said before the race. “Comparing her to a person, she is a little bit smarter.
“She knows where the winning post is. She has become used to winning. She knows what she’s doing.
