    Country
    There is a good mix of country with approx. 350ha (865 acres) of brigalow/softwood scrub country developed to buffel/green panic pastures. The balance of the country is predominately a mix of open/shaded downs running into tordoned ironbark/bloodwood forest timbered with narrowleaf/ironbark and bloodwood. Lonesome Creek runs through the western portion with other gullies running through sections of the property.

    Water
    The property has 4 bores including 2 dual (side by side) bores, equipped with 4 solar pumps. These bores pump to 10 tanks and 12 troughs. There are also three small stock dams with seasonal semi-permanent springs along Lonesome Creek.

    Cattle Yards
    The cattle yards consist of 105 panels with 5-rail cattle fencing on RHS posts. Equipped with an earth floor race, drafting pound, vet crush, loading ramp, and calf cradle, along with an undercover working area. The yards have an estimated working capacity of 500 head.

    Description: This project increases carbon in soil in the agricultural system by re-establishing or rejuvenating a pasture by seeding or pasture cropping (or a combination of such activities) to promote soil vegetation cover or improve soil health, or both.
    The projects are in the early stages and two projects were issued ACCU credits in 2024. Agriprove are monitoring the projects to assess the next opportunity to test for improvement and potential ACCU credits. The implemented activities can be described as improving pastures and rotational grazing, being common practices within the grazing community.
    A key benefit for the incoming purchaser is that the current owners have completed and paid for the baseline soil sampling at the commencement of the project.
