'Strathavon' has plenty to offer any producers looking for feed to expand their operation featuring a good mixture of Buffel and Mitchell grass pasture.
A large waterhole that has never gone dry in the Barcoo River supplies water to the numerous tanks and troughs. In conjunction with other natural waterholes, livestock have to walk no further than one kilometre to get a drink. The property also received 165 mm of rain in March.
Part of an exclusion fence cluster requiring only a further eight kilometres to completely enclose the property.
An unfenced stock route of 2,400 acres traverses the property.
As a reflection of the quality of the country ‘Strathavon ‘was utilised in the past as a ram depot for both ‘Portland Downs' and ‘Isis Downs'.
