Thank you to everyone who came to ‘Ravensbourne’ yesterday for our Bull Sale. We are very happy to report that we had a total clearance of 81 bulls sold for an average of $7,494.
The top price bull Lot 24 Strathmore Nexus N656 (PS) was purchased for $40,000, in partnership, by Bridle Holdings and Yarrawonga Santa Gertrudis Stud.
Bull Creek Pty Ltd, Blackall purchased the 2nd and 3rd top priced bulls Lot 3 Strathmore Nightcap N536 (PP) for $24,000 and Lot 2 Strathmore Nomad N214 (PS) for $20,000.
The Pearson Family of Bull Creek Pty Ltd bought 5 bulls in total for an average of $15,300.
Other volume buyers were Tarlton Downs Pty Ltd of Tobermory Station acquired 11 bulls for an average of $4318.
Chandler Pastoral Holdings of Barcaldine purchased 8 bulls for an average of $7,062.5, HV&AA Button of Muttaburra purchased 7 bulls for an average of $5,785, Llewellyn Grazing Co, Longreach bought 5 for an average of $6,200 and Nugent Pastoral Co, Tambo, bought 5 for an average of $6,100.
